| We need to quit refering to the so called blend wall. There is no such thing. In Minnesota we are at 12.2% volume. We need to do three things
1. Use our own product. It is disturbing how many farmers do not use higher blends of ethanol.
2.help get flex pumps out in the stations. How many of you have asked a station to carry higher blends. Minnesota corn along with many partners applied for USDA grant money to put in pumps we did not get the full amount we applied for but did secure around eight million from the grant and raised over another six million to go along with the grant. Even if the EPA doesnt like ethanol at least the USDA knows the importance and benefits.
3. Education we need to talk with consumers about ethanol. The coments that people post about ethanol are so off base. We need to come up with a better way to get the facts and benefits out | |
