What was the big push to do such a plot?
I was so sick of looking at other plots. Yield data is pretty much meaningless if it doesnt have a story to go with it. Also sick of seed salesmen bashing on each other or claiming their product is so much better than this or that. Part of that was the people I dealt with in the past. Now this year nobody really had a bad thing to say about the competition. It was quite refreshing. I have lots of fun just being in the field and am pretty eager to learn how to raise corn better. My curiosity probably had more to do with getting this thing going than anything else. |
