Wealthiest people I know are all farmers. May not be true in every small town but very common in small towns for the wealthiest individuals or families to be farmers.
Considering the risk farmers take, they should make more money than the average wager earner in my opinion.
To the original poster, we do have an image problem. If we would lose all government subsidies/intervention, I would be fine with that. And that takes care of the image problem as well. if farmers didn't get any subsidies from the government people would still bitch and then would the government stay out of our business Embargos Wetlands How would they entise us to give them information ? |
