Oorooster just wanted to share another pic with you. this spreader cost under 20 grand brand new between the spreader and loader you can be set up for less than 30 grand. I can easily spread 25 tons an hr. Most coops or custom guys are charging at least 15.00 to spread by the time they mark up the lime, mark up the trucking, and then charge to spread.
You can be making profit in short order.
25 tons hour with jcb how about with a regular tractor. Wou ld you by a job again why

The jcb obviously speeds it up alot of hauling far on the road but if the pile is in the field it doesn't half much. I actually prefer to use my 2-135 WHITE on the spreader if it is loaded in the field.
The jcb's are very nice for travel jobs or utility jobs...and I'm glad I have one...but wouldn't want 2 of them around anymore.
They ride like Cadillac and are good on fuel and fast .
But:
Parts prices are RIDICULOUS
they are very lightweight so not a tillage tractor
Terrible turning radius

I just run my big square baler, litter spreader, and sometimes discbine with it
