You were thinking of the Cheyenne res which is East of us.  I am on the Crow res which is over 1/2 owned by non tribal members.   We own about 2/3 of farmland and about 1/3 of pasture.  Landowners can hunt deer, but the elk generally are up on the mtn nearby which is solely tribal land.  So kinda tough to get around that one,  come over and well go fly around and they are fun to look at though.
