South West MN | The feed bill for total confinement is to high to work out when prices are not to the moon
This year from May 15 to sep 20 my cattle got 10 cents a day in mineral
From sep 20 to October 10 they ate hay
From oct 10 to nov 10 they got 53 cents of snack every other day.
Now they are getting 53 cents of snacks everyday while they are out on stocks. They will get this until the stocks are grazed off in about a month.
The only facilities I have for them is a 48 x 16 shed for the calves and a grove.
