Live cattle - Lower cash prices could slow a rally in cattle futures, The Hightower Report said. “With cash cattle near $125, the December futures at 132.17 and February at 134.20 look a little rich.” But analysts there said cash market outlook for December looks promising.

In general, fed cattle offering looks smaller this week, DTN said. Frozen beef supply has increased as of the end of October, up 34.3 percent from a year ago, Analyst John Harrington said.

Some live cattle trade may begin to develop today with the Thanksgiving holiday ahead, but DTN said most action will likely wait until tomorrow. Buying interest after yesterday’s gains and retailer support are expected to help futures prices this morning.
