Formerly NE North Dakota, now NW MN | They used to have something like that few years ago. They collaborated with a website that is pretty much defunct now (called futuresource.com, it was bought or re-branded or something i donno). We used it when we were in college.
It wasn't really geared for speculators. It was more of a hedging only type tool. We used it in a class in college to practice selling a specified amount of grain, and IIRC we were even graded on our final selling price. So naturally we all tried to speculate our way to an A+++++++, but that did not work.
After graduation, when trying to get more comfortable with the whole grain marketing thing again (and I was in love with the idea of speculating back then), I tried setting up accounts and the thing would work OK for awhile, but after doing somethings like selling positions a day after buying the ect. it would basically just crash and quit working.
If I wasn't so sure I'd get sucked into it like a video-game addiction, I'd set up an account and try it again. |
