You can spread more than one ton of lime on no till. We do 3 regularly. Your soils sound a lot like ours as far as pH. 60+ miles to a quarry is going to add up but doable. You are not going to get much custom work with junk equipment. Lime is hard on a spreader. Just lots of material to spread. Rent a wheel loader to load. Charge by the ton, not the acre. Big jobs can be profitable. Small jobs are not. Shoot me an email if you have questions.
