If I was planting something else in the 108-110 RM that wasn't Dekalb: here is some hybrids I run into that are worth looking at..
Honestly, I know you said you know the big boys but Channel 209-53 is a pretty darn solid 109 from what I have seen.. I have also seen solid performance out of P0909
Hughes/Burrus 4J95 (I have a seed customer who really has had good luck with this product in both 2014 and 2015).
Ruling out the ones you gave I honestly don't have a lot of sound recs because you listed 95% of the good seed competitors I run up against. Not saying there are not great products from small players out there just not seeing them in my part of Northern Illinois... | |
