Yes. Topped out around 14,000 in 2013. A lot of local (30 mile radius) ground is scooped up by those who have other businesses and prefer to invest excess profits/cash into farmland. Nothing new but is a bit risky imo even if you are the all cash type. Hoping to squeeze 2-3% return just to keep up w inflation until a better opportunity comes along might explain some of this...
