prior to 2003 pretty much bearish but use bins

fundamentals didn't matter

nowadays its a combination of what your ability is to consistently grow a crop, against local basis/market, against whether you have storage or not

if you can grow a consistent crop every year, have crappy basis and no storage you are bearish looking for a point to sell on a rally

if you cant grow a consistent crop, have good basis, and bins you are likely more bullish
