Beresford, SD | BS. My father owns all row crop equip. He farms his paid for land and custom farms for 6 other farmers (160 to 900 acre operations). Our customers are part timers to a retired farmer that just wants to continue farming a quarter to keep tabs on things. We all work together and my dad pays us hourly and charges based on iowa states custom rates. We get late model equipment with all the gadgetry, which none of us could afford with say 300 or even 900 acres. In all there are 7 different operations combined for better efficiency. | |
