Subject: Hey northern soybean growers...

NE ND
How do you choose which soybean maturities to grow? Central Nelson County ND. Typically planting beans May 23 to 25. I have been starting out with an early maturing variety, 006, just to get started combining in the fall sooner. Then I switch to planting an 02 on a couple fields, then to an 009 or 008 for a couple of fields. I then finish up with a 006 with the thought that if we have an early frost, hopefully the last seeded beans will still mature. I am usually disappointed with my last fields with the 006's though as the 02 and 008 with out yield the 006 by quite a bit. This is just the way I have always grown them. Looking for some input from others as to how they pick and plant. Thanks
