I own land in Redpath twp., mine is decent but there is a lot of crap. Substandard corn yields and you can't grow beans. High salts. Years ago it was a big barley growing area. Barley can take the salts. Those days are over. Lots of tileing going on which should help.
Rents and land prices are definitely softening. On the good ground there was a lot of 200bu. corn and 50bu. soys this year. KAD
