Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | I looked at several sets of results for different locations around southern Minn and the results vary widely from 54 to 60. Most of the variation is by variety but some locations report uniformely lower test weights (54-56) and others more spread out by variety (54-61) in the same location. Without actually calculating an average I would guess that the typical range wold be 55-58. So maybe 56 would be about right.
Unless Pioneer is consistently better or worse than corn from other breeders. |
