Southeast Colorado | Say what?? I've had a hard time getting the futures board or options to relate very well with the cash price here on feeders locally. It may be within $10 but that's about all of the profit margin you have to deal with. Maybe it's because I'm not a player. Not saying whether you are or not but when it's time to sell there only seems to be SO many buyers. I've gone to just raising calves on gain instead of owning them for this reason................don't necessarily like that but don't know how to do any better. Maybe you have some ideas?? | |
