Last time we were in New York, we sat next to a woman who was a pharmaceutical engineer. She said she'd never met a farmer in her entire life and couldn't believe we were farmers. She thought farmers were far too poor to travel, much less go to Broadway shows. She asked tons of questions and had no clue about farming. Then she went on to tell me how wealthy she was and how she makes so much money, she reverse commutes, lives in Manhatten and drives to Jersey for work. I said yeah, I have friends from college and a cousin who are all pharmaceutical engineers and they're really doing well.
How can she be educated yet so clueless?
