SW Michigan | People need to realize that farmers making money is a good thing...allows farmers to invest in the latest tech which in turn can be turned into cleaner foods..less chem/fert used...more precise and efficient use of a farmer's time as far as machine use is concerned (translation) not as many late nights and Sundays running noisy machinery in populated neighborhoods.
In my family's instance our farms rely heavy on irrigation and investing in tech has allowed us to use less water on our crops. The list is too numerous to even list here! | |
