Wealthiest people I know are all farmers. May not be true in every small town but very common in small towns for the wealthiest individuals or families to be farmers.
In a small town, of course the wealthiest people are farmers. Who else with a $#!+pile of money wants to live in a small town, especially in central Canada? Go to a small city in an ag area that actually offers some living amenities and the wealthiest people in town aren't the farmers, not by a wide margin, I'd guess.
