Agriculture's image problem

The problem is that folks are swayed by image usually the last image they see. It can be as bad as a guy seeing an hsus video and thinking pigs should be raised in hotels and not get slaughtered while the guy finishes his pork chop. Huge disconnect. I can see someone seeing a couple farmers on vacation being envious, but sometimes seeing anyone on vacation generates envy.

Admittedly when there are budget problems, the group with the worst political front/image loses. Farmers have always been a tough one for governments. Russia killed 1/2 theirs when they thought the farmers were not working hard enough. Political types would like 3 or 4 farms to deal with and will legislate to that end. No politician wants to deal with the diversity of situations and ideas we present (that would be/is work).

However, I have an idea that the politicians want to keep their hands in food production so there will be something tossed at us to keep us in line.
