Holy Smokes, that is a terrible corn basis. I used to think that places of Dakota the ground was still undervalued but I can't even imagine those kind of basis levels. We are anywhere from +.25-+.31 for Winter delivery here to an end user. To haul straight to the elevator is still only -.20.
This spring we were -1.00 for corn and -1.30 for beans. Sure makes it tough to grow up here. |
