North Dakota | I was down in AZ for 3 days. I have 18 vacation days a year due to having a full time off-farm job. The point I am making is not the fact that people take vacations, yes, everyone in all walks of life does that. But when we are involved in an industry that has large government supports, the image that we portray directly impacts the public support in the future for Farm Bills, Crop Insurance Subsidies, Disaster programs. Do you think the other 98% of the general population will support us in continuing these?
I'm all for agriculture but what has gone on these past 10 years is beyond bizarre in my opinion. | |
