A lot of farmers will blink well before March, haven't talked to 1 yet who is flush with cash like so many articles have stated the last 2 months. Basis may improve somewhat but the easy money is gone IMO. Some elevators have been pretty aggressive for a while and have secured quite a few bushels down the road.
What is the basis and carry in the cash market telling me?
