| I'll ask broker on the basis for feeders but for which month? I think for something like this you'd use -7, but not 100%. I'm not sure about feeder cattle basis as I am fats. I'd be willing to throw you some help if needed but my warning is we have looked into it in the last month and came out to lose 50 bucks per head including yardage. So it became your doing the work for free but getting rid of feed.
We did this last year and sold cattle into a plus 20 feeder cattle basis. It won't be that this year. | |
