I actually got an email from my broker this week wanting me to sell the physical and buy a July call. A $4 call will cost about 17-18 cents and I could maybe sell some other options along the way to help pay for it.
He suggested July, because there isn't going to be a weather scare by March....too early.
I'm thinking of doing it for bushels in commercial storage that are hedged in Dec futures.
What is the basis and carry in the cash market telling me?
