Subject: RE: Cost of Production

Ben and Pknoeber you guys are spot on, right now I could probably get $4.30 cash corn for 2016 if I played my cards right. It wouldn't be fun, it might get a little hairy at times but I could do it. All I have to do is sell a CH17 which is currently $3.99 and put it in storage next fall. If basis is even close to this year, for me to haul corn into Seaboard (hogs) I can get a +$0.31 basis. Hell I can haul it in right now and get +$0.25 and the further south you go into SW KS the better it gets. It just gets to be too long of a haul for me. So I guess maybe you guys in Indiana should idle the acres since our corn is worth so much more than you.
