SW Minnesota
Did I miss something? Don't we have an entire 2016 growing season yet? I'm not leaning one way or another yet, but I'd say there is as good of a chance of 4.50 corn as there is sub 3 here. I get it, we have raised two tremendous crops back to back in this nation. The dollar is really strong, exports are a struggle, and other developed countries are in a real struggle economically. Still after these two huge crops the quad cities has inverted basis in November? Trains are flying east out of here about as fast as they can book them. I'm not gonna argue the crop size, or the usda, because without a doubt the large majority of the growing areas have had good conditions the last two years. Domestic crop use is so different then what it was 10 years ago that any blips are going to drastically affect the market, and I think to often we get caught up in comparing the marketing years to historicals.
