If you're only going to bid on things that are FOR SURE you're never going to buy anything anyway. Probably poor choice of words on my part to use those words in the first place.
I can't think of anything a person can buy that isn't some sort of gamble. I dont know why you'd think farmland with or without development potential should be any different.
