Southwest Iowa, the center of the universe | I like to watch across many commodities for a general sense of the entire complex of commodities. Sugar took off the first few days of Oct, I don't know the reasons. Oats have turned their 10, 20 and 40 day moving averages all up. Very interesting! Most other grains, hogs, copper, energies are still bouncing at low prices or punching to new lows. What could be the turning point for the balance of the commodity pool? It's a ways out, but a new administration, or the anticipation of one, may be what it takes. I believe this country's consumers and businesses are just waiting to explode! I enjoy the diverse intellect on this forum, what do you think? |
