The two 1/2" studs appear to be what's holding the roof from moving up. I think maybe the rubber seals are stuck on the threads. I took the cab filter off and I can see where that stud is located. I'll put some silicone spray on the stud and the seal and maybe pry up on the roof near the stud from below.
Did you also have to replace the heater hoses?
