SCIA | If you have 4.25+ contracts, why not buy corn and fill your contract. Works like this; buy cash corn @ 3.38, .12 out charge, if applicable. Cost in corn, $3.50. Deliver on 4.25 contract. .75 profit less trucking. May have to hunt to find elevators with enough free corn, but can be done. .75 ish in your pocket, instead of out of your pocket.
If you have the contracts at a processor a ways away from you, start looking for free corn closet to the processor, less trucking that way. Most elevators have some free corn, yo just have to find it. | |
