The Palouse North Idaho
Yeah the OEM hose is 5/8" but I think it's pretty thin wall thickness that's why it started leaking. I've never had any luck with European made hose or belts. Goodyear is a good brand name. How old is you tractor? Have you ever had to do this kind of stuff on a cabbed tractor before? This is my first tractor with a cab and I'm kinda' PO'd at having to do this on a 2007 machine! It only has 390 total hours on it!

I think the heavy duty Gates hoses have a thicker wall and so the OD is bigger and I was concerned about being able to pass the hose down the A pillar. I figured I'd use 1/2" ID Gates Green Strip hose. If I can get the Gates5/8" down the A pillar,I'll use it because it's the OEM ID.

Thanks again for your help.
