By using 2 recorded position points that are adjacent in time to calculate grade you have an (almost) RTK solution for grade. IOW, very little or no drift in position between 2 position points that are adjacent in time. Combine 'aspect' (tilt,roll,and pitch) maps can be constructed using yield monitor files with WAAS recorded positions and 3D 'grade' computed from adjacent position points. Accuracy of those 'aspect' maps is very good. Multiple year combine 'aspect' maps of the same field are nearly identical.

Awesome work on integrating the Arduino micro controller into a very low cost survey grade depth control system. That's the stuff that spurs competition and lowers cost to end users.
