I think that this issue has been taken to far. I don't smoke and have never smoked other than to try one a few times in my youth. I don't enjoy smelling smoke while eating in a restaurant either. However what gives me the right to eat in any restaurant I choose and telling others what they can do while I am there? I think that places should be either smoking or nonsmoking and labeled as such and then everyone can make a choice as to where to go. As far as the cost to tax payers in medical expense this is something to consider but where will it stop. Will farmers be denied coverage because of the dust and the many things that is in it that we breath as we go about our work? What about the dust that we create when someone builds a house in the country. They are already working on that one.
