Okay on Sorghum.. they bumped the yield a little.. added 20 myn to crop.. 1 to imports on east coast.. (that's a crock btw..) so total supplies up 21..
They RAISED Industrial.. which is ethanol.. 85 as well as Feed 25 and counterbalanced that with a Reduction on Exports of 105 thus total demand up 5 but stocks up 16..
This goes along with what I was saying.. given the fire sale prices on Sorghum basis.. everyone is going after it.. We're starting to see basis improve for Sorghum.. Hutch bid is already within a nickle of corn on improvement this week.
I'm sealing my inventory up with a CCC loan.. as we got more on the way imho.
On the corn they reduced the ethanol grind?!? What's up with that??? 75 myn.. so they only bumped ethanol 10.. and my work is looking for a 250 to 400 myn bushel pop.. so.. we're quite a ways apart on that...
???
Q1 grind was 5% ahead of last year.. that pace would put us up 260 myn bushels YOY.. so..?? maybe they think it will tail off.. or they only recognize the bear arguments...??? |
