Starbuck Manitoba Canada | Actually it was high demand with lower production that gave the major price thrust the last few years. The printing press did help,but was not the main reason.
Also, to say that no one saw the hard times coming is hard to imagine. I will agree with you on the fact that we are not at the stage of what happened thirty some years ago "YET". It is a few years away IMHO, and we will see better times/grain prices first before the big bust. I also believe that the next downturn in the farm economy will be tougher to handle than the one of the 80's, as I think it will coupled with a world wide economic downfall. | |
