There is a lot of very good wheat in western Kansas. You are in a bad spot, and I dont think its very big. I still say upper 20s for lows and winterkill dont go together.
There is a lot of late under developed wheat in western Kansas. "Here" the wheat is either early and very big or late & still emerging...
But yeah upper to mid 20's w/ moisture in the top soil=\ winter kill. I'm not worried about it. |
