I know of 15 quarters for sale within 10 miles of my house and have been since last spring. 2 years ago they would not have been on the market 30 days. If we add what the bankers will add to on the market... it will get ugly. There was so much land available in the 80's (at least here in Nebraska) the could not get a bid on it. As we were all hurting and those that weren't banker's just kept saying don't worry it will go lower. Farmers were offering 50% of asking price and they got it bought!
