Life's but a walking shadow | If you look at the numbers to date you see that sorghum & soybeans are each about 1/2 million metric tons ahead while corn & wheat are 1.8 & 1.9 MMT behind respectively. The thing that is puzzling is that we are ahead on soybeans even though South America has gone gangbusters on soybean exports for several months. Corn at least makes sense because Brazil is very significantly ahead of their last year's corn exports so the fact that we're behind fits.
I don't think we can honestly say anything about this year's final soybean exports just yet.
