Actually if you go north of Wichita, Jon is right. From where I am, we are woefully underdeveloped in most fields planted early or late. Stressed plants with poor root systems. Without additional moisture, we are very susceptible to winterkill if we get that sudden cold snap with wind. We are drier now than we were in 2014 which was our worst crop in the last 30 years.
