Thanks for the info on subsidies. And FYI my B-I-L retired from a long career managing stores for Walmart. I have gleaned some info on Walmart and subsidies. It seems that according to analysts Walmart employees are given between $450k and $500k in WIC, welfare payments per store nationwide. So, in essence we the taxpayers are subsidizing Walmart's low pay scale. Interesting! The world is full of interesting factoids.
