Subject: RE: Cycles work when there isn't 'fundamental change"

All businesses go through cycles of over production then under production and prices chasing each situation. However, typically leadership only gets it's way to a point and then 'cooler heads prevail' and they back off. That's not really happening anymore (cooler heads are more interested in promoting their political career). Nonsense job numbers, college graduates not finding jobs with pretty much nothing on the horizon. I'm sure there will be legislation to keep jobs from going overseas and other things that seem like the 'right thing to do' while ignoring the cause.

Owned land returned lots of money these past few years and that money went back into land. The return is now going down and so there is less $ chasing land (eventually). There are plenty of land sales these days and it looks a little like the investment buyer maybe pulling out. The history of land prices is pretty volatile. The saving grace we have is that there just isn't a lot of places to invest money in.
