Subject: RE: Is there a 50 year cycle?

USA
Top in the land market was around 1929, with low around 1939.

My Grandpa bought his first farmland in 1939 for $35 acre that had previously sold for $100 in 1919 on a land contract. Buyer gave it back to the owner after struggling to pay for it over 20 years. He bought where I live for $75 acre in 1941. Bought his last piece in 1950. Gave $26,000 for 190 acres.

Next land top was in the late 70s - early 80s, followed by a bottom in 1989. 50 year cycle would put a top @ around 1929, with the next bottom around 2039.
