Graph three in this Farmdoc link pretty well explains why Farmland prices are not close to being in the bubble stage.

Shows the farmland value bubble in the late 70 early 80 time frame. With another price bubble that was forming from about 04-08.

Current deal is a different animal with the current fundamentals that are in play, than what happened back in the 80s.
