Morris, IL | Von, on the corn head idler sprocket, i don't know if it will work for you but i found i could turn the grease fitting towards the front, then when they need greasing i can put the point on my shoulder and grease it, i do them daily.
Just spend most of Friday and Saturday blowing off combine and corn head, been breezy around here which has been perfect. I sprayed corn head with diesel fuel with old air sprayer and do not wash in any way. Combine i try and get as much dust as possible, I feel every year that i'm removing some dust from 20-30 years ago but also feel i'm leaving some fresh stuff as i never remember all the places it hides. We'll wash surfaces if we get a chance this fall but right now have bigger fish to fry for next week or so or until it rains again.
Sounds like foam gun works good. Hope harvest went good.
