Middle Tennessee | Sat, The recent CFTC makes me think 100% hedgefund redemption would be the best possible thing for soybean prices! Thursday's px came with big new short appearance.
Also, regarding Tara's recent thread and unsold farmers, I thought this was interesting,
"In general, farmers in Mato Grosso have forward contracted approximately 50% of their anticipated safrinha corn production, which is 3-4 times more than last year at this time. In recent years they probably would not have reached this level of sales until sometime in February."
(The article further explains of anxiety regarding planting prospects with the forward-sold position.)
