I think you are spot on to why some of these markets have responded erratic or should that be erotic.  Stock Market  is a big bubble waiting to explode.  When it blows it will effect all of us. Even if one does not think they are part of it. Recognition of this activity is vital to managing threw it.  It is not much different than believing in a Conspiracy Theory as an explanation for something.  These funds have become predictable and easy to pick out trends that defy explanations.  It concerns me, this could be the trigger for land values to drop significantly.
