Red River Valley | from my era has done that at that age.
Started farming my own ground at 14 ( 28 acres of alfalfa ) put it up in small squares and sold it to the horse lovers in and around Fargo for a premium delivered it and stacked it into there barns ( another premium). Saved like crazy, drove dads farm pickup instead of my own through high school then found a piece not a lot of people had any interest in and bought it at 19.
I know a lot of guys think you start at the top of the pile of daddy and granddaddy's money and work your way down but there are other ways of doing things.
