Southeast Colorado | The 2014 payments are just now going out. I have yet to receive mine but the local office says they are just gradually releasing them as they are processed. Only thing that sounded bad is that they said no PLC payments were triggered. I think most of the guys with anything other than corn base enrolled in PLC. It will be interesting to see how the figures were arrived at now that the numbers are actual and not some dreamed up algebra formula. All I know is that through a decade of drought and now sorry prices it's hard to imagine that there was no trigger at all on wheat and milo payments. I guess we shall see. | |
